Today was a warm, sunny day at CJDA. The beautiful weather allowed the campers to participate in a variety of activities such as sail, ride, riflery, archery and swim. In the afternoon the girls were able to learn from some visiting CJDA alumni who taught dance and yoga. Our visitors included Leigh Ann Amy, Izzy Marx, Clare DeSantis, and Natalie Hopson. A storm rolled in just in time for evening activity. We had indoor “Twilight Activities”, including special activities like baking, friendship bracelet making, and acapella group (just to name a few). Twilight activities are activities campers elect to do every few days with the same group of girls and counselors. The day came to a close with a sweet indoor campfire, lead by our amazing counselors. Don’t forget about milk n’ cookies before bed!
