Why sailing
Sailing exemplifies the quintessential Adirondack lifestyle.
Sailing is not something most kids can do at home.
Sailing gives all campers, regardless of age and experience, the chance to get out on the water, feel the wind in their hair, learn problem-solving skills, build trust among their fellow campers, and most of all have fun!
Who benefits
YOUNGER CAMPERS:
Sailing builds confidence in our youngest campers as they navigate equipment they’ve never used before.
OLDER CAMPERS:
Sailing builds a lifetime of skills in our oldest campers like the science of wind and currents, mechanical knowledge, and problem-solving skills
