We are excited to announce that we are expanding the roles at Camp Jeanne d’Arc for Courtney Shutts and Liz Rambo! Both Courtney and Liz are CJDA alumni and Camp parents, and are wonderful contributors to the operation of Camp Jeanne d’Arc during camp as well as the off-season. Knowledgeable about all things CJDA and enthusiastic to build on the Camp values, Courntey and Liz are well-positioned to support the integrity of Camp traditions as well as build for future success.
Courtney Shutts
Courtney Shutts was a counselor in 2008 and served as camp nurse from 2021-present. But because Courtney is a Camp JDA girl through and through, she couldn’t help but get involved in camp programming! We are so excited to bring her knowledge and energy to the leadership team. “Going from being solely Camp Nurse, to my new role as Head of Community/Assistant Director, will be a big change, but I am up for the adventure!! I can’t wait to spend even more time with the kids, connecting with families, and keeping our summer happy, healthy, and full of fun!” Courtney will also be overseeing all things medical at Camp.
Liz Rambo

Liz Bateman Rambo was a camper from 1991-95 and her three daughters are now 4th generation campers! She will continue to head our alumni outreach and will take on new responsibilities with new camper enrollment, sales and marketing, and community engagement. It is a natural fit for Liz who is warm and easy to talk to! “I am excited to bring new Camp families into the fold at Jeanne d’Arc! The CJDA experience has been so positive for me and my daughters and I am looking forward to connecting with families who are exploring overnight camp options.”
We’ve already started planning for summer 2026 and we can’t wait to engage our CJDA community with these forces of fresh energy! Thank you Courtney and Liz!
