Dining Al Fresco

This morning started out amazing. The first milestones (running club) of second half went out at 6:45 a.m., thirteen girls participated! Then we had golden brown pancakes for breakfast (sooo good!!).

It was hot and sunny today, so after clean-up the girls enjoyed morning activities such as swim, art, dance, waterski, ride, and more!

We enjoyed mac & cheese for lunch (one of my personal favorites!) which was followed by rest hour. After a nice rest hour the girls went to the choice activities. These activities included anything from stand-up-paddle boarding to quiet reading time in Colonel’s Corner.

For dinner, the weather was so nice we moved all of the tables outside, and we ate our delicious burritos while listening to some groovy music such as Call Me Maybe and Can’t Stop the Feeling. Before evening announcements the girls had fun dancing to the camp dances such as “Wavin’ Flag” and “Cup of Life” on Archery Hill.

When evening activity was announced the girls went CRAZY because it was a fun Les/Jolis game called Ditch. Ditch is a giant game of hide and seek we play in the woods. Fun was had by all but the LES came out victorious. GO LES!

Another great day at CJDA!
