Head Chef
Mary LaDuke
We are fortunate to have Mary La Duke back for her 7th summer as head cook and director of the kitchen at CJDA. Mary is a local resident, working in the off-season as a school administrator and a high school girls volleyball coach. Mary’s experience with food, her happy disposition, and her love for kids makes her the perfect head cook! And wait until you try her cinnamon rolls!

The Hearth
We call our dining hall the Hearth. In the Hearth we eat, sing, talk, dance, play, celebrate, and perform. It’s a very special place!

We have an awesome full-time kitchen staff that prepares three hot meals a day. The menus are full of kids’ favorites like pizza, tacos, hamburgers and chicken. Of course we know that kids like choices, so we always have yogurt, fruit and cereal (available at breakfast), as well as a salad bar in the afternoon and evening filled with many delicious and healthy options. We are capable of accommodating your daughter’s special dietary needs such as vegetarian, gluten-sensitive, lactose-sensitive and nut-sensitivities. Please contact us to further discuss your daughter’s special dietary needs.
