We started off our Sunday with high energy levels – probably because of late sleep! A great breakfast of cinnamon bread created happy campers before we headed off to morning choice activities. This morning the range of choice activities was close to endless, which means everyone was sure to have fun. In addition to board games, cloud watching, riflery, BBs, and a canoe trip to the Sand Bar, there were multiple Les vs. Jolis tournaments going on.
Following this exciting morning, there was pasta for lunch and a well deserved rest hour. Our Sunday schedule runs a little differently in the afternoon – we do service projects in place of regular activities. Today for our projects each cabin picked a second cabin for one hour of helping and performing acts of kindness. We saw letters being written, cabins cleaned, and banners made… but more importantly, each cabin had a smile on their faces when they discovered the project in their own cabin.
After service hours, the girls headed off to either Mass, Inspirational Service or Bible Stories before everyone’s favorite BBQ-style dinner. The night was closed with a beautifully lit outdoor campfire.
Bring on our last week!
