# Camp Jeanne d'Arc

Camp Jeanne d'Arc is a traditional all-girls sleepaway camp in the Adirondack Mountains of Upstate New York, for campers ages 7 to 16. Founded in **1922**, the camp has been building strong girls for over a century. It is named for Jeanne d'Arc — Joan of Arc — and built around her values of faith, endurance, courage and confidence.

This is an overnight summer camp with full-season and shorter sessions. It is not a campground, a rental property, or a day camp.

A $250 sibling discount applies. Deposits are $1,000 and non-refundable. A 2.9% surcharge applies to credit card payments; there is no surcharge on debit card, check or ACH.

## Where campers come from

Camp Jeanne d'Arc is close to evenly split between American and international families. It is not a regional Adirondack camp — roughly half the campers travel internationally, and the largest single market is Puerto Rico.

Spanish-speaking families from Puerto Rico, Mexico, Panama, Honduras and the Dominican Republic together make up close to half the camp.

The camp is roughly a one-hour drive from Plattsburgh, two hours from Montreal, and five to six hours from New York City. International families most often fly into Montreal, Burlington or Plattsburgh.
