Les/Jolis Waterfront

Today was great at Camp Jeanne d’Arc! We woke up to a yummy breakfast of sunny side up eggs and toast. The morning was beautiful and sunny. After cleanup the girls went to 3 activities such as archery, photography, soccer, water ski, ride and more! In photography, we learned about cameras and took pictures of our camp dog : )

For lunch we had corn chowder with bread. It was delicious! For dessert we had Chipwiches!!! What a yummy surprise. Next we had a quiet rest hour followed by Les/Jolis activities at the water front. These activities consisted of a greasy watermelon relay, a swim competition, sand castle building contest, a stand-up-paddle race, mussel pick up competition, and a newspaper relay. There was so much spirit in the air and both teams worked very hard. Following these fun games, a pop up storm came along but that didn’t put a damper on things. We had baked potatoes with chili for dinner. For evening activity we had an extended campfire. It was warm, cheerful, and a perfect night for s’mores. We sang so many fun, and traditional songs such as House at Pooh corner and Pearly Mists. The campfire was such a wonderful way to end a great day.
Love, Izzi Hoff
