Averill's Peak
This picture of Lyon Mountain and Averill's Peak (to the right) at sunset was taken from Jeanne d'Arc's waterfront. Our campcraft and mountaineering programs use the local peaks as well as the High Peaks region of the Adirondacks for many of the girls' trips.
Lake Chateaugay
Jeanne d'Arc's waterfront hosts many activities: sailing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, wind surfing, and waterskiing, to name a few. Situated on the narrows of Lake Chateaugay, girls enjoy many activities and lots of fun from the early morning hours of polar bear to the occasional evening dips!
Lyon Mountain
Just beyond these sailboats, behind Birch Hill, is Lyon Mountain, which is most girls' favorite local climb!
