Staff Opportunities

If you decide to spend your summer as a camp counselor, you can be sure you will experience one of the most challenging, fun and rewarding jobs of your life. At Jeanne d'Arc, being a camp counselor means that you join a family of friends as soon as you walk through our gate. You will be given a unique opportunity to work with incredible international staff and campers, and spend your time making a difference in their lives.

More than 40 counselors and staff members assist the director in the day-to-day operations of the camp.  The camper-counselor ratio averages 3:1.  As a staff member, you will be entrusted with someone's most important possession, their child. We look for counselors who exhibit the maturity necessary to succeed in this role. 

Counselors
Counselors, who direct activities and are in charge of cabin life, are college students or graduates from across the country and around the world, some of whom have attended Jeanne d'Arc for a number of years and have progressed through the camp's program.  There are at least two counselors in each cabin.

Senior Staff
Senior Staff members support the activities of the camp program. The majority of the senior staff members have been at Jeanne d'Arc for a number of years.

Compensation
Camp Jeanne d'Arc salaries are competitive and include room, board, and laundry. Internet access is available.
