Summer 2010
The full camp season is 7 weeks. Campers may also attend for the "first half" season which is 4 weeks or the "second half" which is 3 weeks. We also offer two 2 week sessions and a 5 week session. Approximately 25% of the campers stay the full season. We accept applications on a first come, first served basis with returning campers and their siblings receiving guaranteed placement through January 31st.

2010 Camp Dates
- Saturday, June 26th - Camp Opens! Full Season, First Half and First 2 Week Campers Arrive.
- Saturday, July, 10th - First Two Week Campers Depart, Second Two Week Campers and Five Week Campers Arrive. Parent Visiting Day*.
- Saturday, July 24th - First Half and Second Two Week Campers Depart. Second Half Campers Arrive. Parent Visiting Day*.
- Saturday, August 14th - Camp Closes. Full Season, Five Week and Second Half Campers Depart. Parent Visiting Day*.
- * Parents are also welcome to visit on the Friday afternoon and evening preceding the Saturday visiting and departure day.
TUITION and fees
Early Enrollment Pricing in Effect through November 15, 2009.
These rates apply for Registrations and Deposits received after November 15th, 2009:
2-week Sessions Tuition $3,000
3-week Second Half Session Tuition $4,500
4-week First Half Session Tuition $5,000
5-week Flexible Session Tuition $6,000
7-week Full Session Tuition $7,500
- There is a $1,000 deposit that is included in the tuition price due at the time of enrollment ($400 is a non-refundable enrollment fee and the remaining $600 is refundable until March 15th. )
- ½ tuition due March 15th, and balance due May 15th. (Early enrollment tuition payments, ½ tuition due January 15th, and balance due May 15th.)
- Outstanding Balances after May 15th will be charged 1.5% per month interest.
- Special Pricing and Incentives:
Alumnae children: 10% off tuition
Siblings: 10% off tuition for 2nd child (3rd, 4th, 5th…)
Referrals: $250 credit and a CJDA Hoodie given to families, who refer a new,
first time, CJDA camper.
Payment plans, scholarships, active duty military and other special circumstance discounts are available by request. Please call the camp office.
OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES (additional fees)
- Horseback riding lessons for novice through advanced riders are available 3 or 6 times per week.
- Water-skiing (and wake boarding) lessons for beginner through advanced skiers twice a week.
- Golf lessons taught by professionals at the Malone Golf course available for the 3, 4, 5 and 7 week sessions. (We take the girls on a bus to the Malone Golf Course which boasts a Robert Trent Jones designed course for putting, chipping and driving lessons.)
- Day long field trips by coach bus to destinations such as Lake Placid, NY or Burlington, VT are offered twice a summer, once in each half.
- Tutoring is available in academic subjects and English as a Second Language (ESL.) Call for more information.
- It is recommended that a small amount of money be deposited in the camper's canteen account to be used for stamps, stationery, batteries, film, toiletries, and other canteen items.
- Details regarding travel (bus or van travel from New York City and White Plains, NY and airport pick-ups in Burlington, VT and Montreal, Canada) and luggage shipments will be provided with the Parent Guide and information pack which is mailed upon registration.
PAYMENTS
All payments are payable in US funds. Parents may use our online registration system and pay by credit card or electronic check or they may elect to mail a check. Alternatively, parents may call the camp office to arrange for registration over the telephone, fax or email. It is possible to arrange for other payment methods such as wire transfers. Please call the camp office for assistance. There are no tuition refunds after May 15th although a credit may be applied to another summer if cancellation is due to illness or family emergency.
