We have an expression at Camp:

“Once a Jeanne d’Arcer, always a Jeanne d’Arcer!”

The experiences that girls share at Jeanne d’Arc can last a lifetime. Girls make friends from all over the U.S. and around the world. We are often told stories of Jeanne d’Arcers getting together. How wonderful and gratifying it is to know that camp friendships remain years after camp days are over.

Annual alumnae activities include regional reunions around the States and around the world, contributing to and receiving our new online magazine, "Blue Sparks" (Would you like to receive a copy? We need your email address! Please send it to jehanne@campjeannedarc.com) and attending our 5 year anniversary Alumnae Reunions at Camp.The next alumnae reunion is after camp closes this coming summer - the SUMMER OF 2011.

As we continue to update our contact lists we hope that you will email our director, Jehanne McIntyre Edwards, at jehanne@campjeannedarc.com and her mother, our Director Emerita, Frances Dellunde McIntyre, at fdmci@aim.com with your current address and contact information so we can keep you on our mailing list.

Our founder, Ruth McIntyre, affectionately known as “Colonel,” began with the premise that every person, no matter her abilities or temperament, had something to offer Camp. Today we welcome our alumnae to visit Camp, attend campfire, tell the campers of today about their experiences at Camp of yesterday and how they have affected their lives. Are you still a great canoer? An Adirondack aficianado? A singer? Piano player? We'd love to welcome you back to camp to offer a "mini-clinic" in an activity or teaching the campers songs "from way back when..."

We are also actively seeking interested alumnae to participate in our Alumnae Advisory Board to give advice and counsel to our director, develop alumnae programs and events, raise funds for alumnae “camperships” and even help out at Camp in the summers. Please contact Jehanne if you are interested.
